Studies in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz have conducted field studies or numerical modeling of flows in this region. In the present research, the surface currents of the Strait of Hormuz are predicted using artificial neural network approaches. In order to determine the model’s inputs, the eastern and western time series of surface currents of the strait are used, and the basins affecting the currents of this strait are identified using linear regression model. Then the neural network inputs are defined in two different cases. The first case of the time series of known basins is considered as the input of the neural network. In the other case, combinations of known time series are considered as the input of the neural network using the Jones schema. By comparing these two cases, it is concluded that the neural network model using the Jones scheme has a good performance in predicting the surface currents of this strait. In order to further investigate the neural network model, the flow data is divided into 16 different categories; so that in each category the difference between the minimum and maximum speed is 0.03 and the average of each category is considered as the output of the neural network. To determine the network inputs, the same is done for the two cases previously mentioned. In this case, the results show that the neural network model predicts surface currents with an accuracy of R = 0.85.}, keywords = {Strait of Hormuz,Surface currents,Neural network,Johnes schema}, title_fa = {پیش بینی جریانات سطحی آب های تنگه هرمز با استفاده از شبکه عصبی مصنوعی}, abstract_fa = {اندازه گیری سرعت جریانات دریایی نقش مهمی در طراحی و اندازه گیری های مهندسی دارد. مطالعاتی که در خلیج فارس و تنگه هرمز انجام شده است به بررسی میدانی یا مدل سازی عددی جریان در این منطقه پرداخته اند. در این تحقیق با استفاده از تکنیک شبکه های عصبی مصنوعی به پیش بینی جریان های سطحی تنگه هرمز پرداخته شده است. به منظور تعیین ورودی های مدل از سری زمانی جریان های سطحی شرق و غرب این تنگه استفاده گردید و با استفاده از مدل رگرسیون خطی حوضه های موثر بر جریان های این تنگه مشخص شده است. سپس در دو حالت مختلف ورودی های شبکه عصبی تعریف گردید. حالت اول  سری زمانی حوضه های شناخته شده به عنوان ورودی شبکه عصبی در نظر گرفته شد.در حالت دیگر با استفاده از طرحواره جونز ترکیباتی از سری های زمانی شناخته شده لحاظ گردید. با مقایسه این دو حالت مشخص گردید که مدل شبکه عصبی با استفاده از طرحواره جونز، کارایی مناسبی در پیش بینی جریان های سطحی این تنگه دارد. در ادامه  به منظور بررسی بیشتر مدل شبکه عصبی، داده های جریان به 16 دسته مختلف تقسیم بندی شد، طوری که در هر دسته اختلاف بین کمینه و بیشینه سرعت برابر 0/03 و میانگین هر دسته به عنوان خروجی شبکه عصبی در تظر گرفته شد. در تعیین ورودی های شبکه نیز، مشابه دو حالت ذکر شده قبل انجام شد. در این بررسی نیز نتایج نشان داد که مدل شبکه عصبی با خطای پیش بینی 0/29= RMSE جریان های سطحی را پیش بینی می کند.  }, keywords_fa = {تنگه هرمز,جریانات سطحی,شبکه عصبی,طرحواره جونز}, url = {https://www.hydrophysics.ir/article_248942.html}, eprint = {https://www.hydrophysics.ir/article_248942_7ab263618516f84f8e9b777df5412496.pdf} }
